Due to the fact that I have been playing really badly on the EC sunday (or was it just the fact that I was playing Erol´s deck), I have further explored the "Guess Who" Jyhad game variant while playing.

We tried the game out when we flew back to Germany and I have to admit that the game is marvelous and made us laugh most of the time.

"Guess who" Jyhad game variant:

preparation:
- every player needs a headband
- a transparent plastic sleeve should be attached or glued to the headband (best with the hard and big plastic sleeves from ultra pro)
- minimum of 3 players
- alcohol (if you play the drinking variant)

starting the game:

- every player draws a random vampire card and puts that card in the sleeve which is attached to the headband. Of course the player itself is not allowed to look at his/her vampire.

playing the game:

Starting with the loser from the previous round or a predetermined player, players can ask clockwise yes/no questions about the vampire which is attached to the headband e.g is my capacity above 5? Has my vampire superior Auspex?

If answered yes, the player can ask more questions.

If answered no, the round goes to left player who can ask questions.

It is also possible to skip a round.

Winning the game:

Winner is who finds out who they represent first!

game rules:

A player can ask only once each turn about a specific characteristic trait of his e.g a player is allowed only once to ask about his capacity or his disciplines (Do I have presence? Do I have Dominate)

A player who knows every characteristic of his vampire (his capacity, his disciplines, his set) may chose to buy a hint if they just do not know the name of the vampire. He gets only one hint (such as the first letter) in a turn.

game variants:

If played with alcohol, players must drink a certain amount of alcohol usually a shot glass if they asked a question which was answered with no.

We suggest beginnin gthe game with one set (Jyhad) as even we had quite a difficult time encountering vampires like Luthher or Dodd.

A sepcial thanks to the players from table 2. They gave me some new ideas.

Enjoy this game variant.
